Hasslefree long-distance port-to-port delivery service.
For some circumstances the direct delivery or truck transport is not a viable option. In these instances we have partnered with major shipping companies who have decades of experience transporting yachts across the world oceans.
In this case, our process is to assist our customers in obtaining the most secure and affordable transport solution for your vessel. In many cases official USCG vessel documentation measurements will suffice for the transport pricing, in case that the USCG vessel measurements are not available an official vessel measurement will be required by either one of our captains or another qualified individual.
Once the initial quote is received, we will review the port of origin and destination with you, and assess the best way to have your vessel loaded onto the ship.
One of the major constraints with Ship Transport method is the frequency of ships traveling from origin to the destination. This can be impacted by the frequency the route is traveled because of demand, traffic in the Panama Canal, unusual weather patterns in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, or the necessary deviation from the standard route which needs to be filed in order for the cargo to be delivered. In many cases, the wait can be from a couple of weeks to several months, depending on the impactors mentioned above.
If the wait is going to be extensive, we can assist with finding appropriate dockage close to the loading port and ensure that the vessel is monitored and cleaned regularly. Once the vessel is ready to be loaded we would work with you to either deliver the boat yourself or have us deliver it to the port of origin for loading.
Please note that origination and destination ports CANNOT be both in US waters. This means that if the vessel is leaving from East Coast of the US, and the final destination is on the West Coast of the US, then the only two viable ports for delivery would be Ensenada, Mexico or Victoria, B.C., Canada. After arrival the vessel would have to be transported to its final destination by either one of our captains or by the vessel owner.
